Our club continues to grow from strength to strength and a record number of entries in the top road running events have become the norm. We pride ourselves on our ability to maintain a healthy balance between athletic achievement and social activities. This balance is important to ensure a vibrant club experience and we encourage all members to train hard and play hard as well. We cater to all levels of athletic ability and whilst it is not a secret that we do tend to focus on the longer races such as Comrades and Two Oceans, we enjoy having many members who exclusively run or walk the shorter races. Our club ethos is one of participation and friendliness and as such, we attract members accordingly.

For over three decades, the Benoni Northerns Marathon has been the marathon of choice for thousands of runners who keep returning for our fast and flat route, friendly marshals, well-stocked water tables, and perfect timing on the race calendar for runners looking to qualify for Comrades Marathon. The 42.2km is a double lapper of the 21.1km route through the beautiful Ebotse Links Golf Course.
The Benoni Northerns Night Race is a much-loved community event that invites runners and walkers of all fitness levels to enjoy a spirited race through the streets of Benoni, with festive water stops, music and lights along the way. A fun-filled evening for the whole family to enjoy. There is a 5km Fun Run for children, walkers and casual runners. There is a 10km option for more serious walkers and runners.
